Like many creative people, I have walked an unusual path. After living in Colorado most of my life, I chose to leave a career in architecture and pursue a life abroad. I lived in South Korea for seven years where I founded, directed, curated, and participated in the Daejeon Arts Collective. Currently, my lovely wife and I are living in Saudi Arabia where I teach 5th grade. When I get a chance I like to grab my camera and travel; when I don't get to travel, I like to pick up a brush or a pencil.
The idea that we as humans are interconnected is a well-worn philosophy. We are undeniably bound by our species, our bodies, and our planet. However, what is still worth exploring are the emotions and conflicts that our universal connections conjure in our subconscious. This I why I create the work I do.
